**Impressive Mid-Race Surge Propels Strong Finish** Katherine Santiago delivered a solid performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K. Impressively, she made significant strides between miles one and two. Her initial split was completed in 16:32, placing her 4135th overall, 2309th among females, and 297th in the F35-39 division. Katherine picked up the pace significantly during the second mile, clocking a split time of 7:27 with a pace of 7:27 min/mile, advancing her position to 2500th overall, 1194th among females, and 141st in her division. While the final mile saw a slight slowdown with a 10:30 split pace, Katherine maintained a strong overall pace of 11:29 min/mile by the end of the 5K. Her final overall placement was 3008th out of 6521 participants, showing consistent pacing improvement throughout the race.
