Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Olivia maintained a steady pace throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, showcasing consistent effort and control. Her initial split at 8:36 min/mile quickly improved to 8:07 min/mile by mile two, showing her capability to adjust pace. The pace remained consistent, largely between 8:07 and 8:43 min/mile, until reaching mile eight where there was a slower segment at 9:37 min/mile. Importantly, Olivia regained momentum, effectively dropping her pace to an impressive 7:15 min/mile for the final mile. Throughout the run, Olivia's placement modestly fluctuated, reflecting slight shifts in competition dynamics. Notably, her performance in division F35-39 saw her maintaining around mid-20s in placement. Finishing with an overall pace of 8:13 min/mile, her finish time was 1:47:50. It may be beneficial to strategize on pacing to maintain consistency during tougher splits, building on the capability shown in her concluding strong mile.
