Consistent Performance with Strong Finishing Sprints Brian ran a consistently paced half marathon, maintaining an overall average of 6:00 min/mile. Notable consistent pacing was evident as he held a core average of approximately 6:01 to 6:13 min/mile from miles 2 to 8. His standout performance occurred at mile 13, where he achieved an impressive 5:40 min/mile, demonstrating his finishing strength. Throughout the race, Brian maintained a strong position, placing within the top 24 overall. Within the M35-39 division, he achieved a commendable 6th place. The race data highlights consistent splits with slight negative splits towards the end, indicating good pacing strategy. There is a slight opportunity for maintaining mid-race stamina with split variations post-mile 6 where the pace slightly increased. Continuing to work on sustaining mid-race splits could further enhance overall output in future events. His commitment as a member of the On Run Club is evident in the results.
