Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Alex Seymour from Gresham, OR, delivered a solid performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. He completed the 13.1-mile course in a time of 1:47:57, averaging an 8:14 min/mile pace. Notably, Alex exhibited consistency in his splits, with only a minor slowing in miles 6, 7, and 8, where the pace momentarily increased to 8:36 and 8:38 min/mile. His overall pacing strategy reflects a strong performance. Alex's pace tightened particularly well towards the end, with sub-8-minute miles at the 10th and 12th miles (7:52 and 7:51, respectively), showing a commendable finish. His placement within the M30-34 division saw him finishing 147th out of all male participants. A mere polishing of the middle miles could lead to enhanced positioning. Overall, his efforts contribute positively to the On Run Club team.
