Strong Initial Pace with Steady Performance Daniela Salas exhibited strong pacing in the early stages of the race, starting with a 8:44 minute/mile for the first mile, placing 31st in her division. Her standout moment came during the 3rd mile with an impressive 7:03 minute/mile split, improving her division position to 36th. Through the middle part of the race, she maintained pace around the 9-minute mark, showcasing consistency. At mile 6 and 7, she navigated a slight uphill battle as her pace shifted to 9:53 and 9:40 minute/mile, respectively. Splits revealed Daniela covered the last few miles consistently between 9:25 to 9:27 minute/mile, showing persistence. Despite a drop in her division standing towards the end, Daniela maintained her pace. Overall, she completed the half marathon in 2:03:21, with an average of 9:25 minute/mile.
