Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Davis King maintained an impressive consistent pace throughout the race, completing the half marathon in 1:37:44, with an average pace of 7:27 min/mile. Notably, Davis showed early strength with a split pace of 7:20 min/mile in mile 2. His performance was particularly striking towards the end, achieving a pace under 7:00 min/mile in three of the final four splits, including a strong 6:58 min/mile on mile 12. Davis's placement improved as the race progressed. He concluded in the top half of participants, with finishes of 307th overall out of 4421, 263rd among males, and 51st in the M25-29 division. A focus on sustaining speed through the middle miles could enhance future results, building on the speedy finish exhibited in the final miles. Participating with the On Run Club reflects positively on his commitment to running, and the collective support may have positively influenced his result.
