Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Lauren maintained a steady pace throughout the Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, averaging 8:17 min/mile. Starting strong, she completed the first mile in 7:56 and showed excellent endurance by maintaining a relatively stable pace over the course of the race. Notable is her performance in miles 10 and 13, achieving paces of 7:57 and 7:43 respectively, suggesting she conserved energy for a powerful finish. She placed 18th in her age division and 156th among females out of 4421 participants, demonstrating consistency in a competitive field. With an overall time of 1:48:41, she navigated a few challenging splits like mile 8, which saw a slight deviation to a 9:41 pace, however, Lauren quickly regained her momentum.
