Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Eddie Rodriguez from Albany, OR, competed in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course in 1:13:18. His overall pace was an impressive 5:35 min/mile, securing him 9th place overall in a field of 4,421 participants. Notably, Eddie achieved a significant milestone by placing 1st in his M30-34 age division. Eddie showed promising pacing consistency, with his strongest mile being split 10 at 5:16 min/mile. He maintained a solid position throughout the race, reaching the top 5 at mile 3. The focus for future races could be on maintaining the acceleration seen in the 10th mile, as well as refining the slower miles at splits 6 and 7. Eddie's team, Raza Runners, can certainly take pride in his achievements, looking forward to further enhancements and accomplishments.
