Consistent Performance with Mid-Race Acceleration Saugat Singh completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with an official time of 1:50:55, averaging a pace of 8:28 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. A noteworthy aspect of his performance was the fluctuation in split times, especially the impressive increase in speed between miles 2 and 3, where his split time was 6:21 min/mile. This helped him improve his place from 752 to 340 overall. Despite starting and finishing strong at an 8:11 min/mile pace for mile 1 and a 7:59 min/mile pace for mile 13, there was an observable slowdown around miles 7 and 8, where his split dropped to a 9:19 and 10:19 min/mile.
