Consistent Pace with Strong Mid-Race Performance In the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota, the performance showcased distinct pacing skills. The starting mile was strong with a 7:18 pace, placing 33rd in the M35-39 division. A slight decrease in speed was noticeable with an 8:55 split time in mile 2, leading to a dip in rankings. However, a notable recovery occurred in mile 3 with an impressive 5:22 split pace, climbing back to the 21st position in the division. The middle and latter parts of the race displayed consistency, often maintaining splits around the 7:20 to 7:30 min/mile range. A highlight was the 6:51 split pace in mile 12, which improved division standing. The race concluded with an overall time of 1:36:07, maintaining a 7:20 average pace, and placing 41st in the M35-39 division out of a competitive field. Sustaining and optimizing strong mid-race splits across the entire run could enhance future performances.
