Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Luke Eilers showcased consistent pacing throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 1:55:49. Starting with a solid 8:56 min/mile pace, he improved to 8:26 min/mile in the second mile, which contributed to a climb in placements substantially. He maintained a steady pace range between 8:35 and 8:56 min/mile over the course of the race. The last three miles included noteworthy splits at 8:39, 8:35, and an improved 8:25 min/mile, settling into an overall pace of 8:50 min/mile. Interestingly, Eilers' placement of 159th in the M35-39 division included moments of recovery, which might benefit from slight enhancements in pacing strategies. Representing the "Scooby Snacks" team, this performance places him solidly in the top tier of his division in a field of over 4,000 participants. Great strong finish and team representation!
