Consistent Mid-Race Surge at the Shamrock Run Fest Dana Lopez participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota, completing a 5K with an overall time of 50:36, averaging a pace of 16:19 min/mile. Starting at a steady pace, Dana ran the first mile in 24:03, ranked 2845th in her gender and 119th in her F50-54 division. A significant improvement was observed in the second mile with a split time of 9:10, climbing to 93rd in her division. Although the third-mile split of 15:50 resulted in finishing 123rd in her division, Dana maintained an impressive consistent pace through the 3.1 miles. Improving pacing consistency will likely enhance performance. Dana represented the University of Portland well among 6521 participants. Focus on maintaining the strong middle split across the entire distance for future events. Great job!
