Strong Divisional Placement with Steady Splits Em Scholten showcased consistency and strong performance during the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. They maintained an overall elapsed pace of 11:10 min/mile, successfully completing the 13.1-mile course in 2:26:24. Notably, Em secured 5th place within their N30-34 division, from a field of 4421 participants. Their standout splits occurred between miles 4 and 5, both logging sub-10:30 min/mile paces, which contributed substantially to their solid division ranking. Throughout the race, despite fluctuating overall placements, they demonstrated resilience, particularly in maintaining positions within the top five of their division for the majority of the race. Mile 8 presented a slight challenge, with a decrease in pace to 13:38 min/mile, yet Em effectively regrouped, narrowing subsequent split times to sub-12-minute miles. Moving forward, focusing on maintaining stronger mid-race splits can further elevate their performance.
