Consistent Improvement Throughout the Race Valerie Weilert delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, presented by Toyota. Clocking a final time of 31:51 for the 8K event, she maintained a strong average pace of 6:24 min/mile, achieving a 2nd place finish in her F40-44 division out of a total of 5185 participants. Valerie represented the Rose City Track Club from Portland, OR, demonstrating steady, consistent pace improvements after each mile split. Her splits show a focused effort. She started with a mile pace of 6:47, improving to 6:34 by the second mile. Her third and fourth mile splits were particularly noteworthy, with times of 6:28 and 6:20, respectively. Finishing strong, Valerie secured a remarkable 9th place in her gender division. Continued focus on consistent split improvements will further enhance her race finishes. Excellent job!
