Consistently Improving: A Solid Pace Journey Josie's performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon demonstrated a strong and consistent effort throughout the race. She started with a quick 9:08 min/mile pace for the first mile, then settled into her rhythm. Her ability to maintain an average pace of 9:25 min/mile over the entire 13.1 miles is commendable. Notably, she delivered a remarkable burst at the 3-mile mark with a split pace of 4:57 min/mile, showcasing potential for improvement in speed work. Her overall time of 2:03:24 reflects a steady pacing strategy, placing her among the faster half by finishing 1810th out of 4421 participants. Josie's placement shows strength in her age division as well, managing to secure the 57th place out of the F40-44 division. For future races, working on maintaining the faster early paces in other segments might enhance her performance even further. Great job representing the On Run Club!
