Strong Mid-Race Performance Shows Potential for Progress Mayuko Suzuki completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon in 2:00:25, with an average pace of 9:11 min/mile. Representing the On Run Club, her strongest segment was between miles 2 and 3, achieving an impressive split pace of 8:44 min/mile, placing 3rd in her division. This momentum was noticeable as she consistently moved up in placement, reaching 40th in her division and 40th in gender during this segment. Although there was a notable slow down to an 11:26 min/mile split pace between miles 7 and 8, Mayuko rallied back with a consistent effort in the final miles. Her final mile was completed at a fast 8:31 min/mile pace, highlighting her ability to regain speed. Focusing on maintaining consistent pace throughout could enhance future performances.
