Analyzing the splits, Andrew started strong with the first mile at a pace of 10:18, but the pace slightly slowed through mile 8 reaching 12:08 at that point. From mile 9 onward, there was a commendable improvement with splits of 9:32 for mile 9 and an impressive 9:02 in the final mile. Returning to sub-10-minute mile paces towards the race's end indicates strong endurance and capability for a negative split. Keeping a consistently faster pace mid-race could further enhance future performances.
