He then slightly slowed to an 8:52 min/mile pace in the second mile, yet managed to improve his overall and division rankings, moving up to 473rd overall and 41st in the division. In the final mile, Owen's pace was 9:23 min/mile, contributing to an overall Elapsed Time of 28:03 and a final pace of 9:02 min/mile. Although he finished 914th overall, which indicates some runners overtook him, his consistent pacing and steady effort are commendable. For future races, focusing on maintaining the initial pace in later stages can be beneficial for improved placements.
