Consistent Effort with Strategic Adjustments Ayush Thapa from Hillsboro, OR completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a final time of 2:30:33. He maintained an overall pace of 11:29 min/mile, placing 3167 out of 4421 participants. In his division Male 25-29, Ayush was positioned at 414 out of 573. The performance showed strategic adjustments, particularly from the onset where the initial mile was logged at an unexpectedly slower 25:09 min/mile. Ayush demonstrated adaptability by significantly improving his second-mile pace to 5:50 min/mile, though subsequent miles saw variable paces with peaks at 12:55 min/mile during mile 12. Despite fluctuations, his fastest mile split was 5:50 during the second mile, suggesting potential for aggressive starts.
