Consistent Start, Slight Fade in Final Miles Jason Shaw displayed a strong start at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, maintaining a steady pace in the first three miles. His initial splits were between 7:44 and 7:48 min/mile, positioning him 8th in his M55-59 division. At the 4-mile mark, Jason was still within the 7:47 range, although his overall position dropped to 498th. During the second half of the race, his pace gradually slowed from 8:03 to 10:11 min/mile between miles five and eight, leading to a position of 792nd overall by mile eight. However, Jason managed to regain some consistency in the final stretch, finishing with an 8:20 min/mile pace in mile ten. Ultimately, he completed the race in 1:53:11, with an average pace of 8:38 min/mile, securing 22nd place in his division. Jasons impressive start suggests stamina and pacing adjustments could enhance his future race performance.
