Consistent Start Leads to Strong Finish Ivan Gongora demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, representing the Raza Runners team. Ivan maintained a steady pace in the initial parts of the race, with split times of 7:06 and 6:58 for the first three miles, showcasing his ability to start strong. Ivan's performance remained consistent, achieving an impressive 6:54 split pace at mile 10. This sprint helped his overall average pace to remain at 7:29 min/mile, reflective of his endurance and speed control. During the latter stages, Ivan experienced a slight pace decrease, as observed with an 8:58 split pace at mile 8. However, he quickly regained momentum, notably clocking in a split time of 7:22 for the final mile. Finishing the half marathon in 1:38:02, he placed 51st in his division among 4421 participants. Overall, Ivan's strategic pacing in the early miles contributed to his solid completion time.
