Fernando managed to maintain performance throughout the race, with his first and third miles notably faster than the second. The opening mile was completed in 7:48, demonstrating a solid start with a strong position of 217th in his gender category. Despite a slower second mile at 8:19, he recovered effectively by finishing the third mile at 7:55. In total, Fernando ranked 34th in the M15-19 division out of a substantial field of competitors, indicating strong age-group performance. With a strategic focus on maintaining pace in the middle sections of the race, future improvements could be directed towards sustaining speed to enhance consistency.
