Notably, he managed to maintain a steady pace throughout, with the first half of the race showing consistent splits between 8:07 and 8:22 min/mile. His performance placed him 4th in the M60-64 age division. In the second half, there was a slight fluctuation in splits, notably between miles 6 and 8, where his pace went above 8:45 min/mile. However, he regained speed in the final miles, with an impressive 7:15 min/mile in the last stretch, leading to his strong finish.
