Steady Progress and Resilient Finish Abraham Mejia's half marathon performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota demonstrated remarkable pace consistency and strategic pacing throughout the race. Starting with an initial 7:56 min/mile pace, Abraham showed notable progress by improving his pace to 7:14 min/mile by the third split, marking a significant advancement in placement, rising from 395th to 222nd overall. Despite a slight slowdown in the middle miles, his ability to regain speed during the 9th and 10th miles with paces of 7:21 min/mile and 7:04 min/mile reflects a strong ability to manage energy effectively across different race segments. Abraham's dedication as part of the Raza Runners team was evident as he completed the race with an impressive overall time of 1:40:05, maintaining an average pace of 7:38 min/mile. His final position out of 4,421 participants placed him at 397th overall and 63rd in the M35-39 division.
