Starting strong with a 9:09 min/mile pace, she improved to 8:54 min/mile during the second mile. However, the final mile saw a slowdown to 9:46 min/mile, leading to an overall pace of 9:17 min/mile. Notably, Kayla maintained a strong position in the F25-29 division, highlighting her consistent effort. In terms of improvement, focusing on maintaining the middle mile's pace into the last mile could lead to a significant reduction in finishing time.
