Steady Acceleration and Strong Finish Megan Taylor demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 8K with a consistent improvement in her split paces. Starting with a 6:42 min/mile pace in the first mile, she steadily increased her speed to record a 6:31 min/mile at mile two, eventually maintaining a solid 6:34 min/mile for the next two miles. Notably, the most significant rise in her overall positioning occurred during the third mile, where she improved her spot from 157th to 84th place overall. Throughout the race, Megan showed a notable acceleration in her division and gender ranks, finishing 2nd in F35-39 for the fourth mile.
