Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Sammy Rico from Beaverton, OR, demonstrated remarkable pacing throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, finishing with a time of 1:46:39. Rico maintained an impressive average pace of 8:08 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, her split times revealed a strong finish, with the last mile recorded at an impressive 7:17 min/mile, the fastest segment of her race. Rico's strategic approach to pacing is evident in her gradual improvement in position, finishing 693rd overall and 31st within her F30-34 division. Her efforts placed her in the top 15% of all female participants and top 21% within her division.
