Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Stacy Chung demonstrated consistent progress throughout the race, with notable improvements in pace for each mile. Starting with a pace of 16:17 min/mile for the first mile, Stacy advanced to a 15:47 min/mile pace by the second mile, eventually finishing with her best pace of 13:56 min/mile in the third mile. Her overall final pace was 15:14 min/mile, showing commendable stamina and endurance. Her ranking also improved significantly as the race progressed. From the first to second mile, her place overall improved from 4073rd to 3729th, and her division rank enhanced as well, moving up from 291st to 270th. Despite a drop in overall ranking in the final stretch, her pacing improvement demonstrates a strong foundation to build upon. Emphasizing interval workouts could help maintain or further reduce time in the later portion of races.
