Solid Pacing with Strong Finish Kick Nicki Avena started the race with a 9:34 min/mile pace for the first mile, showing gradual progress by dropping to a 8:54 min/mile in the second mile. A minor slowdown occurred between miles 6-8, peaking at an 11:32 min/mile split pace by mile 8, resulting in significantly lower placements. However, she finished strong with an impressive final mile split pace of 8:13 min/mile. Overall, Nicki maintained a consistent average pace of 9:19 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course, completing the half marathon in 2:02:07. As a member of "The Potato Feminine," she placed 470th among females and 76th in her F35-39 division.
