Strong Performance with Consistent Splits Jaret Carpenter maintained an impressive performance in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 8K, executing well-paced splits throughout the race. He represented the Portland Bureau of Runners admirably by finishing the race with an overall time of 34:45, achieving an average pace of 6:59 min/mile. Notably, Jaret started with a 7:22 min/mile pace for the first mile, subsequently improved in the second mile with a faster pace of 6:57 min/mile, and continued to show strength by maintaining sub-7min paces throughout.
