Strong Finish with Impressive Pace Gains Ella Riis performed consistently at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 1:50:27 and an average pace of 8:25 min/mile. Notably, her early performance showed potential for growth, with a first-mile pace of 9:35 min/mile. There was significant improvement by mile three with a pace of 3:34 min/mile. Throughout the 13.1 miles, Ella progressively accelerated, showcasing strong pacing strategy and stamina. Ella's standout moment came in the final stretch, achieving her fastest split of 7:15 min/mile between miles twelve and thirteenher top mile pace of the day. This places her 29th in her division (F20-24) out of 58, climbing up to 30th place from 58th at the start. Her consistent performance maintained an impressive finish in the top 20% within her division and gender. Continuing this pace improvement strategy and late-race strength will benefit future races.
