Strong Second Split Enhances Overall Performance Jordan Nguyen, at 24 and representing the Pacific PA program, demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota. The race took place in Portland, OR, where he successfully completed the 5K Run in 31:40 with an overall pace of 10:13 min/mile. The highlight of Jordan's splits was an impressive second mile, with a pace of 5:40 min/mile, significantly improving his standing to 968 overall and 48th in the M20-24 division. This noteworthy burst of speed is a great indicator of potential for further improvement and consistency. Attention may be directed towards maintaining this tempo across more splits to refine overall performance. In the end, Jordan finished 1888th overall and 96th in the M20-24 division, among 6521 participants. This effort shows great promise for upcoming races.
