Consistent Pacing for Competitive Performance Brian Lee from Happy Valley, OR, participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest, achieving consistent pacing in his 5K race. He completed the course with an elapsed time of 26:03, maintaining an average pace of 8:24 min/mile. Among 6,521 participants, he secured the 543rd position overall. As part of the M25-29 age division, he finished 69th out of his peers, showing strong competitiveness within his group. His lap splits demonstrated strategic pacing: starting with an 8:46 min/mile, then increasing to an 8:02 min/mile in the second mile, and concluding with an 8:34 min/mile for the final mile. Brian showed a noteworthy improvement in the second mile, significantly moving up in ranks.
