Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Dylan exhibited a solid performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, maintaining a steady pace throughout the race. Starting with a 9:46 min/mile pace at the first mile, he gradually improved his pace to 9:25 by the fourth mile. Although there was a slight slow down after the fifth mile, his split times remained consistent, showcasing an ability to maintain focus over the long haul. In a notable finish, Dylan achieved his fastest split time of 8:43 in the final mile, highlighting his capacity to conserve energy for a strong push towards the end. As a member of the PacU DPT team, he finished with an overall time of 2:07:59, placing 165th in the M20-24 age division out of the 4421 total participants. Emphasizing strategic pacing in future races could lead to even more impressive results.
