Consistent First Half, Opportunities to Build Endurance Brenda started the race strongly, with her first five miles consistently paced between 9:08 min/mile and 9:22 min/mile. She improved her initial position from 1243rd to 997th overall and moved up from 49th to 35th in her age division. This steady start demonstrates effective pacing and strong initial positioning. However, as the race progressed, her pace began to slow. By mile 7, there was a noticeable drop with a split of 11:16 min/mile, eventually concluding with a pace of 10:28 min/mile. Despite these challenges, she managed to finish in the top 26% of her division with a total time of 2:17:14. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing in the latter miles could help improve endurance and overall race performance. Keep up the excellent work with the Crunchito Crew!
