Impressive Early Surge with Consistent Finish Ricky Garcia showcased a strong performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest half marathon. Starting with an uphill pace of 8:21 min/mile, Ricky dramatically improved to an outstanding 5:41 min/mile average by the end. His second mile was particularly impressive, clocking in at a blazing 7:21, which pushed him to the 1st place in his division for that segment. Noteworthy was his third mile with a remarkable 2:19 split pace, keeping him in a top division spot early on. Throughout the race, Ricky maintained a consistent pace, with splits regularly around the mid-5:40s. His strong finish in 1:14:35 earned him a commendable 13th place overall out of 4421 participants and 3rd in his M35-39 division. To further enhance his performance, Ricky could aim to maintain the speeds of his faster splits consistently across more segments. Well done, Ricky, on a fantastic run!
