Consistent Performance With a Strong Start Gerardo Salcido had a commendable performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:51:12. His overall pace was well-maintained at 8:29 min/mile. Gerardo started strong, improving his pace from 8:32 min/mile in the first mile to a swift 7:45 min/mile by the fourth mile, significantly moving up in the race rankings. His peak placement was at the fourth mile with an overall position of 661, showing strategic pacing early on. Towards the latter part of the race, Gerardo showed resilience, conquering the most demanding segment between miles 7 and 8, which saw a slower 10:36 min/mile pace. Despite this, he improved his pace back to 8:04 min/mile by mile 13. Continuing to build on his pacing consistency will enhance his performance further. Overall, a solid effort against 4421 participants, placing 172nd in his division and representing Run Club Salem! admirably.
