Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Max Heller delivered a consistent performance at the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest. Starting with an 8:38 min/mile pace for the first mile, Max encountered a slight slowdown in the second mile at 9:18 min/mile but quickly recovered in the third mile with an impressive 6:03 min/mile pacehis fastest split. This strong segment propelled him substantially forward in the rankings, showcasing resilience and capability. Throughout the race, Max maintained a steady pace, finishing with an overall pace of 8:14 min/mile. Notably, he managed to hit sub-8-minute marks on multiple occasions, particularly towards the latter stage of the run, indicating strategic pacing and strength retention for the latter miles. Ending with a final time of 1:47:51, Max secured a commendable position within his division, M20-24. For upcoming races, sustaining the powerful mid-race momentum earlier could yield even better results. Great job, Max!
