Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Brodie Nielsen demonstrated a consistent performance in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Maintaining an average pace of 10:34 min/mile and crossing the finish line at 2:18:30, Brodie exhibited a balanced distribution of effort throughout the race. Noteworthy is the pace consistency in the early miles, with nearly identical mile paces from mile 2 through mile 7. Even with fluctuations in placement, a commendable recovery occurred towards the end, particularly from mile 9 to mile 11. The strongest mile was at mile 12, clocking in at 10:03, suggesting an increased effort as the race concluded. This finishing strength is an asset that can be refined for future races. Additionally, there was improvement in division placement in the latter part of the race, rising from 276th to 268th in the M35-39 category. Continued focus on maintaining this surge can be beneficial for future performances.
