Consistent Pace with a Strong Mid-Race Surge Matt Keating from Portland, OR participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota. On his 5K run, Matt maintained an overall pace of 9:29 min/mile, completing the race in 29:24. Starting at a pace of 10:14 min/mile for the first mile, he effectively increased his speed with a significant improvement in the second mile at 9:40 min/mile. Notably, Matt reached his fastest pace of 8:40 min/mile on the third mile, indicating a strong finish. His efforts resulted in a 57th place finish in the M45-49 division out of a total of 6521 participants, securing 847th in the male category.
