Consistent Splits with a Strong Finish Sydney Stephens, representing "Irish we were fast," completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:01:11 and an average pace of 9:15 min/mile. The performance showcased consistent pacing throughout the race, with a stand-out effort in the second half. At mile 5, Stephens' split time was 9:21, maintaining a consistent pace through mile 6 and mile 7, which were 9:42 and 9:27, respectively. An admirable sprint finish was evident in the drop in pace during the final miles. Notably, mile 10 clocked in at an 8:51 pace, mile 11 at 8:40, and mile 13 with a strong 8:37the fastest segment of the race. This shift helped move from being in 1087th place at mile 2 to finishing 1682nd among 4421 participants, showcasing the ability to push through and finish strong. Overall, Stephens placed 98th in the F25-29 division.
