Consistent Pacing & Strong Finish Willow Bacon completed the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with a final time of 2:02:03, maintaining an average pace of 9:19 min/mile. Representing the Adidas NAM team, she demonstrated impressive consistency in her pacing, particularly in the first half of the race where her splits hovered slightly over the 9-minute mark each mile. Notably, she accelerated in the last two miles, with splits of 8:44 and 8:40 min/mile, which indicates a strong finish. In terms of placement, Willow ranked 9th in her division (F55-59) and 468th among female participants, out of a total of 4421 participants. Although her overall placement shifted throughout the race, notably in the 1588th to 1729th range, her performance remained stable. The slightly slower paces during miles 6, 7, and 8 might be areas to work on for future races, but her ability to recover and finish stronger is commendable.
