Consistent Pace and Strong Positioning in Final Stages In the 2026 Shamrock Run Fests 8K event, Carsen Moon maintained a remarkably steady pace from start to finish. He completed the first two miles with identical times of 5:13 per mile, strategically advancing from 30th to 28th overall. Notably, in the third mile, Carsen quickened slightly to 5:12 per mile, which helped elevate his position to 17th overall. As he reached the fourth mile, Carsen maintained the 5:12 pace and climbed further to a commendable 10th overall. Concluding the race with an impressive 5:10 pace for nearly 5 miles, he finished with a time of 25:41 and was 32nd out of over 5,000 participants. His ability to improve positioning towards the end while maintaining a fast pace speaks to excellent stamina and strategic pacing. Focusing on a little more speed consistency could enhance outcomes further.
