Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Peyton Scott participated in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon and completed the 13.1-mile course in an impressive time of 1:51:06, finishing with an average pace of 8:28 min/mile. Throughout the race, Peyton maintained a consistent pace, with split times hovering around the 8:30 min/mile mark. Her performance peaked in the final miles, with splits of 7:41 and 7:44 in miles 10 and 13, respectively, showing a strong finish. Initially, Peyton climbed positions significantly from mile 1 to mile 2, jumping from 724th to 571st overall. While the middle miles saw some variance in placement, Peyton demonstrated resilience, ultimately finishing 953rd overall out of 4421 participants and 199th in her gender. As a coach, I would suggest focusing on maintaining those faster paces consistently through the middle miles to maximize potential. However, her ability to finish strongly is a great foundation. Keep up the dedication!
