Consistent Pace with Impressive Late Surge Paul Clem maintained a steady performance throughout the "2026 Shamrock Run Fest presented by Toyota" Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:13 mile, Paul gradually increased his pace to around 8:40 min/mile during the initial miles, showing control and consistency. His places seemed stable early on, hovering around 1355 overall. Mid-race pacing saw some variance with a 9:32 mile at the sixth mile. However, Paul's strong adaptive abilities were evident with a surge in the final miles, notably picking up to an 8:09 pace during the tenth mile. Paul's overall race time was 1:55:48 for the 13.1-mile race, finishing at an average pace of 8:50 min/mile. Improved placement in the latter part of the race moved him to 1281 overall. Despite some fluctuations, this late strategic increase in pace reflects racing maturity. Continuing to build on those mid-race adjustments will enhance Paul's competitiveness in future events.
