Steady Performance with a Strong Finish Caitlyn Angulo from Portland, OR, competed in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest 5K, finishing with an overall time of 31:31 and an average pace of 10:10 min/mile. Caitlyn's pace was quite consistent throughout the race. Her first mile split was completed at 10:05, with subsequent mile splits at 10:39 and an encouraging acceleration to 9:59 in the third mile. She remained steady and showed improvement in maintaining her pace under 10:00 in the final stretch. Caitlyn secured 99th place in her division, Female 35-39, out of a competitive field. From a strategic standpoint, maintaining a steady pace closer to her final mile's 9:59 pace earlier on could help improve results.
