Consistent Gains and Strategic Pacing in Half Marathon Journey Trevor Smith delivered a commendable performance in the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon. Starting with a 1-mile split of 8:26 placed him 622nd overall but showcased a strong strategic opening. A significant improvement was observed as Smith surged forward with his pace tightening to 6:15 min/mile by mile 2, boosting him to 101st position overall. Smith maintained an impressive average pace of 6:48 min/mile throughout the race, notably achieving a lighter speed during miles 3 through 9, predominantly holding a robust pace between 6:12 and 7:00 min/mile. His performance peaked at mile 6 where he reached an 85th place overall. Trevor's final completion time of 1:29:12 is indicative of his endurance and pacing acumen.
