Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Taylor Stehlgens showcased a steady performance with consistent pacing throughout the race, starting with a 8:54 min/mile pace in the first mile and gradually improving to peak at an impressive 8:26 min/mile at mile 7. Despite some fluctuations, Taylor maintained the average pace close to target, finishing the half marathon at an overall time of 1:55:33 and an average pace of 8:49 min/mile. Taylor demonstrated notable resilience, making significant gains early on, particularly between miles 4 and 5, where he improved the split pace time to 8:31 min/mile. Although the pace slowed slightly towards the end, maintaining the average below 9:00 min/mile is commendable. Its worth focusing on sustaining that earlier pace into the later miles to further enhance performance in future races.
