Consistent Pacing and Steady Performance Jasper Bailie maintained an impressive and consistent pace throughout the 5K race. His initial mile split was clocked at 7:15 min/mile, setting a strong start. Despite a slight variation, his pacing remained commendably steady, with the second mile recorded at 7:30 min/mile and the third mile at 7:18 min/mile. Ending with an overall time of 22:43, Jasper achieved an average pace of 7:19 min/mile. In terms of placement, he finished 19th in the MUnder 15 division among a competitive field. Continuing to focus on split time recovery and maintaining momentum across increasing distances could be beneficial for future races. Being part of the Terwilliger Track Club, Jasper has access to resources and support that can enhance his performance further. Overall, his performance was both impressive and promising.
