Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Jason King showed impressive consistency throughout the 2026 Shamrock Run Fest Half Marathon with an average pace of 9:15 min/mile. He completed the race in a total time of 2:01:18, placing 1692 out of 4421 participants. Early mile splits were steady, beginning with an 8:44 mile which positioned him well at 826th overall. The pace slightly fluctuated mid-race with slower miles at 9:42 and 10:20, indicating a need for maintaining speed after the halfway mark. Noteworthy is Jason's final push in the last two miles where he picked up speed again, particularly with a standout 6:37 pace at mile 12. This effort helped him improve his standing within his division, culminating in a division placement of 126th in the M40-44 category.
